Hello! I'm Chen Nuo（陈诺）, a name inspired by the Chinese word for promise. My parents chose it in hopes that I would embody honesty and truthfulness, both to myself and to others. Growing up, I often found myself navigating the currents of societal expectations, where pursuing a stable job was prioritized over chasing dreams. I watched many around me trade their ambitious aspirations—like becoming astronauts or game designers—for more conventional paths. I was swept along with them for a long time, unsure of my direction.

           I am glad I can pursue my passion while studying Photography and Illustration as a double major at the Maryland Institute College of Art. With each step, I've grown more confident in my abilities and more transparent about my career aspirations. As I continue this journey, I strive to live up to my name and embrace the promise of honesty and authenticity in all I do.
